Les Maranges, an area with three voices
Les Maranges comprises threewine-growing villages– Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-lès-Maranges and Sampigny-lès-Maranges – united under the same appellation and identity.
On these south-facing rolling hillsides, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay find an ideal playing field. The wines, classified as Village and Premiers Crus, are seductive for their balance: crisp fruit, controlled freshness, supple tannins and great depth.
Less well known than their Côte de Beaune neighbours, Les Maranges cultivate a more discreet, freer approach. Here, wineis discussed with simplicity, time is taken to exchange ideas, and each encounter becomes an experience in its own right.
