Chassagne-Montrachet, a terroir of balance and character
Chassagne-Montrachet extends over complex clay-limestone soils, shaped by the relief and exposure. The appellation grows both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, producing wines that are structured, generous and racy.
The Grands Crus – Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet – and the many Premiers Crus make the village famous. In the glass, the whites offer fullness and depth, while the reds surprise with their finesse and energy. An assertive, uncompromising signature.
