On the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, we’re not just talking about wine: we’re talking about a legend. From Dijon to Santenay, this legendary route winds its way through 60 kilometres of vineyards, 31 villages and 32 Grands Crus – a concentration of history, expertise and UNESCO-listed landscapes. Here, every bend breathes terroir, every cellar has its secret and every village tells a chapter in the great Burgundy saga.
Created in 1937, the Route des Grands Crus is France’s first wine route, nicknamed the “Champs-Élysées of Burgundy”. It crosses two exceptional areas: the Côte de Nuits, the kingdom of Pinot Noir, and the Côte de Beaune, the birthplace of the finest whites. Between the Hospices,Clos de Vougeot and picturesque villages, this route is an invitation to experience Burgundy glass in hand – a journey through culture, heritage and the art of living.
