Bike home The label that's pedalling in the right direction

On the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, we like to take our time admiring the scenery… especially with handlebars in hand! But to make the most of it, you need to know where to stop with peace of mind. That’s where the Accueil Vélo label comes in: a guarantee of a high-quality welcome for all travellers by bike, from the casual cyclist to the seasoned touring cyclist.

What is Accueil Vélo?

A label that works for you!
Managed by France Vélo Tourisme, the Accueil Vélo label is awarded to establishments committed to making life easier for cyclists. For three years, those awarded the label guarantee well-thought-out services:

  • proximity to a cycle path or greenway,
  • secure bicycle shelters
  • repair kit available,
  • practical services such as luggage transfer, laundry and bike hire.

In short, it’s possible to travel light: every break has been designed to ensure that cycling means comfort and freedom.

Côte-d'Or, an ideal playground

The label is displayed along major itineraries such as the Voie Bleue,EuroVelo 6 and the Voie verte du canal de Bourgogne. But also on the legendary routes of the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, such as the Voie des Vignes, perfect for cycling between Dijon, Beaune and Santenay, in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Climats vineyards.

And behind this label, a varied network: hotels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, tourist offices, cycle hire and repair shops, visitor sites… all united by the same objective: to make the experience of travelling by bike simple, pleasant and unforgettable.

A practical guide for cyclists

How can you make the most of it? Nothing could be simpler:

Whether you’re on a family outing, a sporting weekend or a long journey, you’ll always find the right spot to take a break, fill up a tyre, enjoy a meal or recharge your batteries (human and electric).
