Le Mois des Climats is THE time to find out more about Burgundy’s 1,247 climats. And because Burgundy can also be discovered at a child’s level, fun and educational workshops are organised for the very young. If wine had a diary, it would surely include the dates of the next Mois des Climats!
Le Mois des Climats is a festival celebrating the Climats of the Burgundy vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each year, between June and July, around 75 events take place to discover the wine, gastronomy, culture and terroir of the area.
The festival takes place mainly in the Côte-d’Or, between Dijon, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune and the villages along the coast. Numerous villages and wine-growing sites take part in the event in the heart of Burgundy’s Route des Grands Crus.
On the menu: vineyard walks, original guided tours, original tastings, exhibitions, shows and children’s workshops. The festival offers around 75 different events to appeal to both wine enthusiasts and the curious in search of convivial experiences.
